This is definitely not your typical summer landscaping job.

Best internship ever?

Husqvarna recently announced the summer job of a lifetime for college students in the United States. June 16th was the application deadline for the job, which entails sitting on a beach chair and Instagramming while an automatic lawn mower trims the grass.

Seriously. That’s it.

Husqvarna is paying two college students $15 per hour to watch an Automower run across a section of grass at the Zoo Miami. All the students have to do is post about the Automower on their Instagram account, “keep the robot company and get a tan if that’s your idea of a good time”.

What Husqvarna is calling “the Smartest Summer Job” will run from July 12th through July 25th and includes paid travel to and from Miami as well as paid lodging.

20 finalists will be selected from the initial pool of applicants. Those finalists will then be asked to submit a 60-second video explaining why they should be the ones to get the job. Each video will be uploaded to Husqvarna’s website and voted on, with the top two vote-getters getting the job.

The qualifications for the job were fairly exclusive. To start, applicants must have been 18 years or older when they applied, be enrolled in a U.S. college or university, and have an Instagram account with over 500 followers.

Voting for the 20 finalists will open soon. The videos will be available here, so check back if you want to have a hand in deciding which two students land the easiest landscaping internship of all time.
