A New-Home Building Boom

In the year following the 2008 market crash, fewer than 600,000 residential building permits were issued, according to a report from ApartmentGuide.com and data provided by the U.S. Census Bureau Building Permits Survey. Flash forward a decade to 2018, and that number has increased to 1.3 million. Of course, those homes vary greatly in value.
