Twisted nylon mason’s line is typically used to create layouts for concrete. In this video Scott Wadsworth shows another way masons and other construction pros can use twisted string: as a “saw” for cutting through PVC. With enough friction and the proper technique, nylon string can slice through plastic with relative ease. PVC, ABS, it doesn’t matter. As Scott says, “The string doesn’t care!”
