T-Bar Assembly Lifts

Ever wonder what makes a woodworker tick? Here’s Ken Collier, “These T-bars are one of my happiest discoveries as a woodworker. They’re just 5-inch-wide pieces of 3/4-inch plywood face-glued together, with another 5-inch piece screwed on the bottom for a base. Any larger assembly I do happens on T-bars because they lift it off the table. It’s easy to drive in screws, check the project for squareness and tighten clamps anywhere around the edges. I work alone most of the time and the T-bars are my extra set of hands.”
