Honda Power Equipment Celebrates 35th Anniversary
Company announces $46.4 million investment to expand its manufacturing capabilities at its facility in Swepsonville, NC.
Honda Power Equipment Mfg., Inc. (HPE) recently celebrated 35 years of producing power equipment products by announcing a $46.4 million investment to expand its manufacturing capabilities at its facility in Swepsonville, NC. HPE also revealed an all-new Honda HRN lawn mower, which they plan to begin producing in September.
The popular HRR was released in 1998 and has been Honda’s top-selling mower for the past 20 years. Consumers have purchased more than 300,000 HRR models per year—that’s comparable to the number of Honda Civics sold each year. This new mower is a complete redesign of the HRR from the ground up.
