Sioux Chief plumbing products

Another great product from Sioux Chief! Clean look and they're removable to replace if needed! Perfect hammer arrester solution for the situation where the washer needs to go back tight without bending the hoses at a hard angle.

Down to the Last Drop

What you see here is my favorite way to remove water from a toilet before taking it off the flange so I don't spill water out of the trap. I've already flushed it to get the water out of the tank.
What I'm showing here is simply using the Last Drop sucker tool to pull water into the tool, then I'm pushing the tube down into the trap of the toilet and pumping the water out the drain. That way I don't have to take that water anywhere else, it's all contained. This works 99% of the time. The other times is when the seal is so bad you don't want to run the risk of getting their floor or ceiling (if it's a second floor bathroom) wet. Then you have to suck it out and dump in a bucket or a tub or shower close by.

Water Heater Descaler

Flushed a Navien Tankless today with some Haymaker Tankless Water Heater Descaler. I typically use just standard white vinegar but I didn’t have time to get to the store this weekend so I just picked this up from my local supplier. I was blown away by the results but I’m not sure if it was because it’s a better product or if it was from the tankless not being flushed for over 6 years... Now that I have used both I would have to say this is a better product.

Plumbing Access Door

Easy access

By far the best access door I've ever put in. No fasteners required. Simply level measure(twice). Cut the opening and install by bending over the clips. Great system. If recommend bookmarking their website because they have a huge selection.

EasyOuts

"Spiral Screw Extractors" aka "EasyOuts"; they're nothing new, but in a pinch if you don't have em your basically screwed!!

A little customization never hurt anybody

Lenox arbor/mandrel; holding the Milwaukee 3/8" paddle bit; using the DeWalt flexvolt hole saw... Did I mention I like to customize my tools? The secret behind the easy plug extraction is the combination of this and similar hole saws PLUS the Milwaukee 3/8" pilot bit.

Pliers Wrenches

Just in case anyone is still living under a rock... here are two of the many reasons why these are my go-to for fittings like these. These are the 10" KNIPEX pliers wrenches. Happy wrenching!

Quality Cutoff Wheels

Sick and tired of running your cutting wheels down to nothing without finishing a cut!? Stop wasting your money on bulk packages of metal cutoff wheels and look to invest into a diamond-grit metal cutoff wheel! There's a few different ones to choose from but the Lenox Metal Max  is the one your gonna want!!!

First time installing the @kohlerco touchless. Very interesting and simple. Love installing these different products by Kohler! This is a great design to help keep germs from spreading.
